Sometimes, you meet someone without realizing just how important they’re going to become. We first crossed paths in 2023, and what started as a simple introduction slowly turned into something much more meaningful.

As we got to know each other, we understood each other more and more. We supported each other through whatever life brought our way, and before we knew it, we had made countless memories together and found something truly special in one another.

After talking for a little while, I decided to ask her out on April Fools’ Day. I figured it would be a funny date to remember. To my delight, she said yes. Little did we know that a simple April Fools’ Day joke would be the beginning of everything that brought us here today.

For our 3rd year anniversary of dating, I had Gizelle come up to San Francisco to celebrate with me. I told her we were going to celebrate our anniversary, so I had us wear matching outfits and even had her get her makeup and nails done. Little did she know, all of that was just my cover up for the proposal. I figured it was the perfect time to do it because she would least expect it.

I told her that I wanted to watch the sunset, and thankfully, she agreed lol. I took her to Baker Beach in San Francisco, and although it was packed, we were fortunate enough to find a small section available. I told her that we should go down to the water to take some cute photos, and from there, at the right moment, I got down on one knee and asked her if she would be blessed to make me food and wash my clothes for the rest of my life.

Thankfully, she said yes willingly and happily. 🤍
